I haven't yet discovered where the last Linux/Windows binary (pre-compiled) is located before the rewrite. I hope MM can comment on this.

Still here, checking in every now and then to see if there's anything new.

I believe it's still best to compile from master, or download the official binaries and use the AVX build for best performance.

What steps are you taking to load your ROM?
Maybe that way we can pinpoint the problem.

A reminder that CEN64 is primarily a command line only application, have you tried CEN64-Qt?

Build 2016-02-17 can now boot Conker's Bad Fur Day!
However, after choosing a new game or multiplayer game, the screen goes black (hangs) with the background music still playing.

It seems this title has always been broken.
Both the current version (build 2015.08.19) and the legacy versions can't boot the game, probably due to incomplete emulation or unsupported instructions.

It might be an idea to debug this one.

Have you tried the following command: cen64.exe pifdata.bin "rom.z64"
Mind you, the cen64 executable can be named differently on your end.

First off, what is the file name of the PIF IPL ROM?
Try a simple name without special characters, and match it with the command line for CEN64.

And second, what kind of error message are you getting?

Paper Mario (U) used to at least boot into menu, before the rewrite.
Now it simply shows a black screen, sometimes with some corrupted graphics.

Make sure the ROMs are Big Endian-format, and not byteswapped.
Basically, use genuine z64 formatted ROMs.

Paper Mario (U) indeed doesn't boot. Could be a bug or a result of the incomplete emulation of the hardware. Are you sure it's this type? Though the 4790 was only available as a desktop cpu. To my knowledge, it is only available in desktops. Bug is fixed :) Both GoldenEye and Wave Race now show correct graphics on the SSE2 build.

Confirmed. Crashes on both ROMs when using any of the Windows-specific versions, build 2013.01.13.
