How to change build type?

Horribly confused on how to actually change the build type when compiling:

Currently doing:

Code: Select all

mkdir build
cd build
cmake ..
make
Want to do a native build.

Re: Tiny rant on N64 file formats

Now I'm wondering what letter "eggs" is supposed to be :P

Though that crappy frontend I wrote for cen64 that I scrapped before the current one, could byteswap between all 24 mutations of a swapped n64 rom. :geek:

Re: Short burst of progress...

Why don't we just do what Visual 6502 has done, but for every N64 component, then it'd be super accurate!

oh, because of how horrible the lag would be ...

Re: Built-in Benchmark Mode

That .elf file is still technically a game, or more accurately, a program that runs on a GameCube.

I agree with Patashu, instead of wasting time coding in benchmarks in cen64 or a benchmark rom, optimizing and completing CEN64 would prove more useful.

Oh that might help
I forgot to copy over ByteOrderSwap16

I'm not exactly sure how to reference the VR4300 from inside the RDRAM code, if that's what I should be doing.

Re: If CEN64 ran at fullspeed

Happy New Year! I've just recorded a video of Super Mario 64 (and me failing at it)

Re: If CEN64 ran at fullspeed

Actually, regarding NTSC vs PAL speed. How does cen64 handle what it's target speed should be?
I've also noticed and wondered why PAL games aren't corrected to run at a correct speed?

Also dat JPEG :(

Note: The post here describes a thread with the title: "If CEN64 ran at fullspeed" I have now extended this thread to be me posting videos with my bmp dumper video method. Re: Cannot compile due to tmmintrin.h errors

Well, that flag was in the video Makefile and even removing didn't fix it.
I did completely disable SSE btw, It seems if the flag for SSSE3 is removed it goes to SSE4.1 which I also don't have on this machine.

Cannot compile due to tmmintrin.h errors

EDIT: Nvm this thread, I see SSSE3 is a requirement for CEN64 and this machine is not capable of running it. Re: CEN64 Front-end for Windows v1.7

Umm, the test I did was in AutoHotkey and not in .NET (since I was being lazy). The best I could do is give you the function code that I used, if thats okay.

Perhapse something link this could be used. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7125 ... in-c-sharp

Re: Unable to read program stdout when running.

Ahh yeah, I didn't do a debugging compile and was attempting to capture the "... VI/s " messages that the video writes. I'll try that.

EDIT: Yup, that was it. It needed a fflush. Now its capturing the output, thanks!
What exactly do you mean by enable C99?

Re: CEN64 Front-end for Windows v1.61

I saw the mention that if you wanted to have the output of cen64 into the front end you would have to hook the opengl calls and then put the output in the frontend? Well, while this is the correct method, it is not the only method. You could remove the titlebar and resizable styles from the cen64 wi...

Re: Unable to read program stdout when running.

For me it is printing to StdOut, as when I changed the code to read from StdErr, I got nothing at all, even at program close. Atleast on StdOut I got the output when the program closed. I also tried what you mentioned about redirecting stderr to stdout but still it seems to sit there until the progr...

Unable to read program stdout when running.

I know this seems like an odd issue, but I was doing some experimental tests with the program itself, and was running into an issue. I'm using the WScript method to Execute cen64 and then attempting to get the StdOut of it. This works, unless cen64 actually gets started simulating an n64, when that ...

Re: CEN64 Front-end for Windows v1.61

I don't know what the Front-end is capable of since I don't have a computer with a 64bit os (with me) I've also never used .NET so please take this as just a suggestion. If you wanted to make a pause button, wouldn't it be possible to use a DllCall to ntdll\NtSuspendProcess ntdll\NtResumeProcess Bot...
